Norwich
6 - 8 June 2012
Maids Head Hotel
Norwich is a beautiful city and compact for easy sightseeing. En route we stop at a country pub where you can get lunch on the first day.
Our hotel has been awarded an AA Rosette for its restaurant and is ideally situated for easy access to all the main attractions, which include the magnificent Cathedral and the cobbled mediaeval Elm Hill area, the Castle Museum and the daily market. In the Cathedral area you can stroll by the river and walk around the attractive Cathedral Close. You will also find a great variety of shops and places to eat. An easy way to move around the city is to catch the open - top sightseeing bus.
Before we head home we spend time at nearby Wroxham, where we take a boat ride on the Broads and you can relax and maybe visit Roy’s, ‘the world’s largest village shop’.
