Wye Valley & Forest of Dean
3 - 6 October 2012
The Chase Hotel 4*
Autumn is the perfect time to visit the beautiful Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. On the first day we stop for lunch in Cirencester, famous for its Roman history. On arrival in Ross-on-Wye we check in at The Chase, a Georgian country house hotel set in 11 acres and one of our favourite hotels in recent years, in plenty of time to relax before an excellent dinner in the refurbished AA Rosette restaurant.
During our stay we have time to explore Ross-on-Wye and visit the charming town of Ledbury with its black and white timber framed buildings; take a cruise on the River Wye, a train ride through the Forest of Dean, and visit the ruined Tintern Abbey.
Included in tour * Travel by 32-seat diner coach with courier/hostess service at The Chase Hotel (4*) town of Ledbury and River Cruise on the Wye
£355.00 pp Single occupancy supplement £90
