An afternoon and evening in Town to see a show or a warm summer day on the Downs watching the horses thunder by......

We go to most of the major London theatre shows combining some West end shopping into the day.

Hampton Court and the annual flower show are always popular.

We especially enjoy the musical evenings at Hever Castle. With some wonderful artists performing selections from light opera, popular songs, Broadway and West End shows, and some excellent food and wine, this really is one of the highlights of our year.

Goodwood Races (and Goodwood House) are not too far from our base and we think is the most attractive race course in the country. With top flight picnic baskets and good wines we picnic on the Downs before entering the course.  Fontwell is not too far away either and we occasionally go to the larger meetings at this racecourse close to Chichester.

Harrods is always a popular trip. Perhaps it's because of the champagne breakfast we serve onboard the executive coach. But our driver is of the opinion that it's popular because he has to carry the purchases and stow them safely in the luggage compartment.
