A feature of this tour will be a private visit to

Chatsworth House, which will be decorated in

the style of a traditional Christmas in the house

of yesteryear – rooms lit with candles and

decorations.  Chatsworth House and the county

of Derbyshire featured prominently in both the

TV series and the film of Jane Austen’s Pride

& Prejudice.  Our sightseeing through the Peak

District will include many of these locations. 

Our hotel is the Izaac Walton Hotel, a 17th

century former coaching inn now a delightful

3* hotel with outstanding views of Dovedale

from its restaurant which has an AA Rosette

for the quality of its cuisine. The hotel has just

35 well-equipped bedrooms.
